Mobile Check Deposit on the MyMerrill and Bank of America mobile apps allow you to securely and conveniently deposit checks anytime and anywhere into eligible Merrill investment and Bank of America banking accounts.

Let's see how it works on the MyMerrill mobile app.

Once logged in,

Tap on the check deposit icon.
Using your device's camera, take a picture of both sides of the check.
And, remember to sign the back.
Select which eligible Merrill Investment or Bank of America banking accounts to deposit to, and enter the amount.
Tap continue to verify the deposit, and lastly tap "make deposit" to process the request.

A confirmation notice will appear on the screen letting you know it was accepted.

A notification will be sent confirming that the deposit has been received and is processing
Deposits made after 5 p.m. Eastern Time will be processed on the next business day.
Funds are available for investing when posted, but they can be held for up to 8 days.
The check should be kept for 14 days to ensure the issuer has honored the payment.
